Material Quality: The desktop is engineered wood (MDF core with a textured laminate surface) in a light oak finish. Density measured 580 kg/m³ — lower than premium options but acceptable for this price. The laminate surface is surprisingly scratch-resistant and easy to clean. However, the edges are basic ABS banding that can peel over time.

Frame & Stability: Here's where the budget shows. The single-motor T-leg frame is adequate for daily use but wobble is noticeable at standing height — our test measured 3.2mm lateral displacement. You won't spill your coffee, but you'll feel the desk move during vigorous typing. The 154 lb load capacity is sufficient for a standard monitor/laptop setup.

Motor Performance: The single motor moves at 1.0"/sec — slower than dual-motor desks — and noise is audible at 50dB. The 3 memory presets work reliably. There's no anti-collision detection, so be careful with cables.

The Verdict: If your budget is under $300, the FEZIBO is the best option. It gets the job done. But if you can stretch to $479, the Flexispot E7 Pro is a massive upgrade in stability and motor quality.
