Acacia (Acacia mangium) is a tropical hardwood known for its dramatic grain patterns and rich color variation — from golden honey to deep chocolate within a single plank. Our density test measured 640 kg/m³ with a Janka hardness of 1,750 lbf — harder than walnut, harder than oak, harder than maple. This surface laughs at scratches.

Surface Finish: The hand-applied tung oil finish is a deliberate choice — it lets you feel the actual wood grain texture rather than hiding it under layers of polyurethane. The finish is food-safe and can be refreshed by the owner with a simple oil application every 12-18 months. The trade-off: it's less resistant to water rings than polyurethane coatings.

Frame & Motor: The dual-motor frame is rock-solid with 0.8mm wobble at max height — matching the Uplift V2. The integrated cable management tray runs the full width of the desktop with a magnetized access panel. Travel speed is 1.4"/sec at 42dB.
