Sizing Corner Desks
L-shaped standing desks provide 30% to 50% more workspace than traditional rectangular desks. However, because they use three lifting columns instead of two, choosing the correct size and planning the layout is critical to avoid cramming your office.
Footprint Sizing Chart
- 60" x 60" L-Shape: The minimum recommended size for a corner desk. Perfect for dual monitors and a small writing area. Requires at least a 5' x 5' floor space.
- 72" x 72" L-Shape: The sweet spot for power users. Easily supports triple monitors, a desk pad, and audio gear.
- Custom L-Shape (e.g., 72" x 30" main with a 48" x 24" return): Allows you to customize the depth of the main working zone and the secondary return side.
Setup Pro Tip
Always place the main monitor setup on the "main" desk portion directly above the dual-column leg assembly. Placing heavy monitor arms on the extreme outer return side can cause torsional twist in the desk frame, resulting in motor sync errors.
